984 BROAD ST.: Soul Bar, which is decorated with James Brown mementos and memorabilia.

CORNER OF JAMES BROWN BOULEVARD (NINTH STREET) AND BROAD STREET: Area where Ninth Street was named in Mr. Brown's honor by city leaders in 1993.

BROAD STREET BETWEEN EIGHTH AND NINTH STREETS: Site of James Brown statue.

744 BROAD ST.: Imperial Theater, where Mr. Brown would rehearse before tours. CONFEDERATE MONUMENT, 700 BLOCK OF BROAD STREET: Where Mr. Brown posed for a well-known publicity photo.

SOUTHWEST CORNER OF REYNOLDS AT SEVENTH STREETS: Where WAGT-TV station taped Mr. Brown for his weekly future shock shows from July to September 1975.

1122 GREENE STREET: Location of Mr. Brown's office in the 1970s.

300 BLOCK OF EIGHTH STREET: Former site of WRDW radio, where Mr. Brown would dance on the street for money.

601 SEVENTH ST.: James Brown Arena. This 8,500-seat venue was renamed for Mr. Brown in September 2006. He appeared at the sign unveiling there on Oct. 16. It is the site of Saturday's Homecoming Celebration.

712 TELFAIR ST.: Bell Auditorium, a favorite venue of Mr. Brown's.

818 EIGHTH ST.: Trinity CME Church, where Mr. Brown became fascinated by music as a young boy.

616 WALTON WAY: S&S Cafeteria, a favorite place for Mr. Brown to eat.

CORNER OF JAMES BROWN BOULEVARD (NINTH STREET) AND LANEY-WALKER BOULEVARD (THEN GWINNETT STREET): Former site of Lenox Theater, where Mr. Brown won his first amateur talent show.

921 FLORENCE ST.: Silas X. Floyd School, where Mr. Brown attended elementary school.

611 LANEY-WALKER BLVD.: Walker Memorial Gardens Cemetery, where Mr. Brown's father and former wife are buried.

1052 STEVENS CREEK ROAD, SUITE 116: Top Notch Enterprises Offices

1480 EISENHOWER DRIVE: Site of WRDW-AM radio station in May 1970 when then Georgia Gov. Lester Maddox met with Mr. Brown.

2651 PERIMETER PARKWAY: Augusta Towers (formerly Sheraton Hotel), where Mr. Brown held many of his Christmas parties for employees and friends.

1217 W. MEDICAL PARKWAY: Mr. Brown's office near Doctor's Hospital that was burned by an arsonist.

3056 WALTON WAY EXTENSION: Mr. Brown's family home in the 1970s.

493 HIGHLAND AVE., SURREY CENTER: International Recording Studios, where Mr. Brown recorded Doing it to Death, the Payback album, parts of his Black Caesar album, and other recordings.

AUGUSTA RIVERFRONT MARINA: Site of another James Brown day celebration with U.S. Rep. D. Douglas Barnard Jr., speaking on June 28, 1986.

430 DOUGLAS ROAD, BEECH ISLAND, S.C.: Mr. Brown's home. The 62-acre property has an estimated value of $422,000. The house is not open to visitors.
