MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest on December 19, 2001, in Milledgeville, Richard Brown of Martinez. Funeral services will be held at the Covenant Presbyterian Church on December 27, 2001, Thursday, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Holley Shoaf-OKla and Rev. Jennifer Horton officiating. Interment will be in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Richard Pennington, Allen Rentz, Wyatt Fuller, Charles Anderson, Andre Jenkins and Frank Godbee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 26, 2001, from the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. Richard lived his life in this area and played football at Lakeside Middle School. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Survivors are mother, Sherrie Glover; father Richard E. Brown; stepfather, Norman Glover; stepbrother, Norman Glover Jr.; and other relatives.
