THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Eleanor Jones Guillebeau, 94, entered into rest December 1, 2001, at the residence of her son, Ned Guillebeau in Smyrna, Ga. She was the wife of the late J.W. Guillebeau and was preceded in death by her son, Ted Guillebeau. Mrs. Guillebeau was a native of McDuffie County and lived most of her life in Thomson before moving to Smyrna, seven years ago. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Thomson, a homemaker and was retired from retail sales. Survivors include two sons, Mr. Ned Guillebeau of Smyrna, and Dr. James G. Guillebeau of Tyler, Texas; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Neil R. Guillebeau, John P. Guillebeau, James W. Guillebeau, Peter Guillebeau, Paul Guillebeau and Kirk Guillebeau. Friends may call at the residence, 1090 Washington Road, Thomson. The family will receive friends at funeral home Friday night from 7 to 9 p.m. John B. Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
