AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on November 26, 2005 at the University Hospital, Mr. William M. "Bill" Campbell, 79, husband of Mrs. JoAnn Yount Campbell. Mr. Campbell was a native of Iredell County, N.C. and a Navy Veteran. He was a retired Pipefitter with the Local 227 in Columbia, SC and a member of Curtis Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and was a member of the Curtis Homebound Ministry. Family members in addition to his wife include his daughters, Ann Campbell of West Columbia, SC, Susan C. Thomas and husband, Mack, of Greenville, SC; son, Keith Campbell and wife, Tamara, of Augusta; six grandchildren and one great-grandson. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Curtis Baptist Church with Rev. Sherrell Dunn officiating. Interment will be Wednesday, November 30, at 2:00 P.M. at Iredell Memorial Park in Statesville, North Carolina. Memorials may be made to the Curtis Baptist Church, 1326 Broad St., Augusta, GA 30901.
