The Georgia Department of Labor's Augusta Career Center and the Augusta campus of the University of Phoenix will co-sponsor a job fair from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday at the campus, 3150 Perimeter Parkway.

About 35 employers will be hiring to fill job openings and will discuss future employment opportunities.

Employers expected to participate include A Child's World, ADP, AFLAC, Circle K, FedEx, FPL Food, H&R Block, The Home Depot, International Paper, Lowe's, Sitel, Spherion, SunTrust, T-Mobile, Teleperformance, UPS and Wachovia.
