COLUMBIA, S.C. - Two former South Carolina women's basketball players have been sentenced to 18 months probation after pleading guilty to fraud and drug charges.

The State newspaper in Columbia reported Monday that Ashlie Billingslea and Jasmine Payne pleaded guilty to financial card theft, fraud and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Judge J. Michelle Childs sentenced both women to a suspended 5-year prison term under the youthful offenders act.

Both were accused of stealing credit and debit cards last March from the University of South Carolina's Blatt P.E. Center. Billingslea must reimburse her victims $351, and Payne must pay $391. They also were ordered to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
