COLUMBIA -- Marcus Simpkins scored on a 7-yard run early in the fourth quarter to lift Aiken over Airport Friday night.

On the previous play, Aiken's Patrick Sapp had recovered an Airport fumble.

Aiken's Garrett Amerine sealed the victory when he intercepted a pass at the Aiken 4 to stop an Airport drive.
