Save America; put CEOs in jail
Letter to the Editor
Sunday, October 19, 2008

I say let the Wall Street bums go belly up. They have had their way long enough.

Why hasn't anything been said about how the high cost of gasoline brought on some of these market and economic problems. High gas prices, high food prices, high prices on everything caused many people not to have enough money left over to pay their debts, mortgages and other necessary living expenses.

Even the CEO of FedEx said that high fuel prices are a factor in his business. Corporate America's CEOs are completely to blame for all this. They never do or say anything for the benefit of the American people. They know who made these subprime loans, and not telling is fraud to the highest degree. Put them in jail and then maybe we, the people, will believe they are serious about this problem.

I say, again, let them go under.
