I DON'T SEE WHY ALL these guys are getting their panties in a twist over having a soup kitchen near the James Brown Arena. I guess they are worried because there are more people who would go to the soup kitchen than there are who would actually go to see a concert at the arena.

THIS IS A RAVE for the Best of Augusta at Fort Discovery. Great music, great food, truly a great experience for the city of Augusta.

DOES AUGUSTA HAVE a panhandling law? If so, will you please enforce it? Especially down around the Fifth Street bridge area.

RANT FOR THE public library on Greene Street. The people who use their cell phones and are talking in the library need to be kicked out.

THE THEATERS IN this city never get any of the good movies when they are released. We always have to wait and see the movies after they have been nominated for awards.

I KNOW YOU'RE NOT GOING TO PRINT this, but I'm going to say it anyway. We do have an alternative way to strike back at Washington by writing in Ron Paul as president. The Democrats and Republicans have crossed us and stole us blind. Abraham Lincoln was the first Republican president. George Bush is the last. I've had enough.

PARENTS AT BUTLER HIGH: You should have been at your stadium to support your football players, cheerleaders and band members. That goes for the students as well. You should support your school.
