Ten local industries that manufacture, handle or store dangerous chemicals outlined worst-case scenarios - and more-likely scenarios - of chemical spills during a program Thursday. Click on the links below to view maps that illustrate those accident senarios for some of the dangerous chemicals the companies handle. Use your browser's "back" button to return to this page after viewing the maps. The circles on the maps show the area of possible contamination. The plumes on the maps, chosen as reference points only, show that actual contamination would vary with wind speed and direction.
