What is it?
Friday, October 10, 2008

Last week's mystery photo was of the 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan (above), but we would have accepted its twin, Chrysler Town & Country. The first reader to identify it was Chris Sorrells, of Martinez , who wins a gift from The Augusta Chronicle.

Other correct entrants were: Carolyn Ogles, of Augusta; Jerry Paul, of Evans; Josh Allen, of Beech Island; Drew Clark, of Evans; Joe Burt, of Martinez; and Ken Ziegler, of Evans, who cited the Grand Caravan and Town & Country, and then added: "There is also a 2009 VW Routan being based off of the same platform and body shell except that the trim below the windows is chrome."

Others guessed Ford Expedition and Kia Sedona.

Now, let's have some fun. Today you will find a blast from the automotive past. This car didn't change much during its long run, so the model year is not important; just tell us the make and model.

Call (706) 823-3419 and leave a message or e-mail glynn.moore@augustachronicle.com.

Please give us your name (and spelling ), city and phone number . The deadline is noon Wednesday, and the first to identify it will get a gift from The Chronicle.

The names of the correct guessers will be published Friday. As always, thank you.
