In response to Gloria Greenbaum's letter Sept. 24 ("'Liberal' media myth just not true"), I agree with her that each of us needs to respect one another. Perhaps it could be better to use "progressive" rather than "liberal" and "traditional" instead of "conservative."
If we truly live our lives respecting others, we will respect people who profess both progressive and traditional beliefs.
This is to include respecting people who have ideas and make choices that are completely different from whatwe think or may do.
Ms. Greenbaum questioned why Sarah Palin was tested to determine the health of her fetus if she did not intend to undergo an abortion, and addressed her pregnant teenage daughter's unmarried status.
A strongly pro-life couple I know once told me they underwent testing so they could educate and prepare themselves in the event they would give birth to a special-needs child.
I say, let us respect Sarah Palin, not demonize her, Ms. Greenbaum.
