School officers meet
The following student government officers of Wardlaw Academy, Johnston, S.C., took part in the fall Student Government Association meeting of the South Carolina Independent School Association at the State House in Columbia:

The following pupils have been named Citizens of the Month for September at Jefferson Elementary School, Bath:

Also, Javius Jones, Jessi Cliatt, Orion Wisham, De'Sean Williams, and Sarah Jo Lott , first grade; and Lauren Shoup, Monica Curry, Morgan Glover, Nina Carlin, and Kaitlyn Hutto , second grade.

Becomes Eagle Scout
Chris Bevirt , 18, son of Gary and Cher Bevirt, of North Augusta, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He is a member of Troop 7, which is chartered to Grace United Methodist Church.
