STAR OF THE GAME: Lincoln County junior running back A.G. Middlebrooks ran for 236 yards and had three second-half touchdowns -- including a 59-yard TD reception -- as the Red Devils pulled away.

PLAYS OF THE GAME: In a span of 5:29, Middlebrooks scampered for touchdown runs of 76 and 80 yards in the third quarter, out-racing Irish defenders down the Red Devils' sideline.

WHY LINCOLN COUNTY WON: The Red Devils had too much firepower for the Irish. Lincoln County had four touchdowns called back because of penalties.

WHY AQUINAS LOST: The Irish stayed with Lincoln County for a half, trailing 14-13 on Ethan Lapan 's 28-yard field goal with 6 seconds left in the first half. But the Red Devils opened the second half with two scores in their five plays on offense.
