AUGUSTA, Ga. - Funeral services for Mrs. Lovie "Bernice" Cunningham, who died September 25, 2001, at her residence, will be conducted this Monday, October 1, 2001, at 2 p.m. at the Antioch Baptist Church, Rev. Kenneth Martin will be officiating. Burial will be in the Middle Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Worthen, Ga. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include her mother, Ceola Lattimore; three daughters, Charlene (Rico) Merriweather, Elizabeth (Lorenzo) Jenkins, Brenda Carter; two sons, Melvin (Andrea) Grant, Clayton (Pam) Gonder; Godson, Chris Williams; five sisters, Elouise Gilbert, Ethel Carswell, Ceola Jackson, Rosa Stanley, Dorothy Ramsey; three brothers, William Gilbert, Tommie Gilbert, Steve Gilbert; one uncle, Steve Cunningham; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews; and other relatives.
