Mr. Kenneth Mosier

Retired Supervisor Thomson Co.

THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Kenneth Mosier, 83, of Truman St., Thomson, Ga. entered into rest September 27, 2001, at the V.A. Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Mary Smith Mosier. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, September 30, 2001, at First Baptist Church with Dr. James C. Elder Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Don Newsome, Fred Perdue, Carroll Burton, Ronny Marchman, Billy Hobbs, Leon Mynatt. Honorary pallbearers will be the Mens Bible Class of First Baptist Church. Mr. Mosier was a native of Glasco, Kentucky but had lived in Thomson, Georgia most of his life where he had retired as a supervisor from Thomson Company. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he had served as deacon and was a member of the Mens Bible Class. Mr. Mosier was also a member of The VFW, A. J. Miller Masonic Lodge and had served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Survivors include his wife Mary Smith Mosier, nieces, Joie Saravolatz, Priscilla Foster, Debbie Lokey; nephew, Craig and Glen Reynolds; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Reynolds.
