Mrs. Ella May

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Ella Pearl May, beloved wife of the late Arthur May, entered into rest, Thursday, September 27, 2001, at the residence, Augusta. Family members include her daughter, Virginia M. Curley; grandson, Michael Curley of Lincolnton; granddaughter, Laura C. Brinson; four great-grandchildren, Leigh Curley, Austin Curley, Remer Brinson IV, and Holton Brinson; her brother, Paul May Sr.; and sisters, Bessie Glover and Carolyn Brassell. Mrs. May was born in Warthen, Ga. She was a homemaker, a member of St. James United Methodist Church, The Marschalk Circle/Braid Circle, and the Emma Lester Sunday School Class. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Funeral services will be held today, Sunday, September 30, 2001 at 2 p.m. at St. James United Methodist Church with Rev. Shirley Wright officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Paul May Jr., Danny Glover, Buddy Darden, Stan Brassell, Tommy Brassell, E.K. May.
