Star of the Game: Even though he didn't get a single carry in the second half, Evans RB Jonathan Finch did more than enough to put his team ahead for good. He ended up with four rushing touchdowns, including a 25-yarder to put the Knights up 13-0 in the first quarter.
PLAY OF THE GAME: After Harlem scored its only touchdown of the game in the third quarter, Evans sophomore Glenn Cassedy had a 57-yard kick return to put the Knights deep in Harlem territory.
WHY EVANS WON: The Knights did it the old-fashioned way: They ran the ball well and limited Harlem to 2.5 yards per carry.
WHY HARLEM LOST: The Bulldogs could not stop Finch.
QUOTE: "We were open last week, and that made us a little fresher, I thought. ... Harlem was a good football team, and we know Glenn Hills is gonna be a good football team too. Glenn Hills will be the most athletic team we'll face coming up." -- Evans coach Marty Jackson
