David Laird, with the city of Aiken Department of Public Safety, makes a correction to the direction of one of the 12 American flags put up throughout the city Monday. Someone called the department to inform it that the flags, when displayed on the street, should have the field of blue facing either north or east. The city had them facing the wrong direction.
