Senator seeks action

In remarks prepared for delivery Thursday on the floor of the U.S. Senate, Sen. Zell Miller said the terrorists and those who give them safe haven ''should be in our bombsights.''

''I say, bomb the hell out of them,'' said the Democrat from Georgia. ''If there's collateral damage, so be it. They certainly found our civilians to be expendable.''

The senator said the United States must strike the ''viper's nest,'' any nation that harbors suspected terrorism mastermind Osama bin Laden.

''Being an accessory to a murder - whether you do the deed or not - makes you guilty,'' he said.
