Airport commission's plan defended

Editor, The Chronicle

Why are you so against the airport commission? Is it too efficient for you? They are working nearly harmoniously, with the exception of your lackey, Ed Skinner, to create a plan that has never existed.

Mr. Skinner thinks this commission is going to lay down and work passively just like it has for 27 years. I support this commission and I fully want them to wait and get a master plan in place before spending any of my tax dollars.

By the way, just so Editorial Page Editor Suzanne Downing knows, I expect progress to cost me and all the citizens of Richmond County. If I built a house, don't you think I would want a builder with a plan and funds to build it correctly?

If you really think you have the answers, then sign up for the commission or stay home and bake cookies.

W. Wilson, Augusta
