YOU KNOW WHAT THE problem is with this country? People aren't taught responsible drinking. They are told not to drink, which doesn't help anyone.

RANT FOR EVERY IDIOT who whined that Obama was too inexperienced to be president, then McCain picks the Alaskan governor who has less than two years' experience in running a state government and was a mayor of a town smaller than Harlem.

SARAH PALIN'S DISTANCE from high office and politics makes her the safest one of the folks running for president or VP. Of the four, she's had no time in Washington and the least time in office, which gives her a vast head start at not being corrupt.

REGARDING THE RANT warning about putting ethanol in a lawn mower: Also don't put ethanol in before you finish mowing.

IF DEKE GETS HIS ballpark built, who's going to run it -- the Coliseum Authority?

MY RANT IS ABOUT the McDuffie County Tax Assessor's Office. They are abusing their power.

MY MOTHER AND father worked hard all their lives and for a jerk to say they should have to pay extra property taxes is crazy. They should have to pay no taxes.

A BIG RAVE FOR Dr. McKenzie and his staff in Grovetown. You are truly a gift.

WHILE AT THE Greenbrier-Evans football game, I observed a large crowd of rowdy youths behind where the visitors' school buses were parked. There is a need to put some security in that area before someone gets hurt.

I THINK IT'S GREAT they're rounding up these deadbeat dads and moms. I hope they can find my child's father. He can't pay child support but he's always on MySpace chatting to meet different girls.

AUGUSTA NEEDS to take care of what we got now. Riverwalk, parks and gardens in this town are a disgrace.
