SYLVANIA, Ga. --- Kwame Cunningham passed for three touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime, as Laney beat Screven County 21-14 in a Region 3-AA game.
In overtime, Cunningham hit Courtney Roundtree on a 12-yard scoring strike.
Cunningham passed for 120 yards, and Eugene Moore had 91 rushing yards as Laney evened its record at 1-1.
Screven, which is 0-2, was led by Travis Coles, who had 101 yards rushing and a touchdown. The TD was a 2-yarder on the final play of the third quarter, which tied it at 14-14. There was no scoring in the fourth quarter.
