Scouting Report: Butler Bulldogs
By Joey Jones| Staff Writer
Friday, August 29, 2008

Classification: 3-AAAA.

Record Last year: 0-10. The Bulldogs lacked leadership and could never get their offense on their feet.

Why they could be better: Over the offseason, Butler has made strides to improve their work ethic and attitude.

Three to watch: RB Fuentes Brown (5-11, 207), FB J.P. Ryan (5-10, 190), QB Kendariss Brown (5-11, 175).

Coach Galan Phillips says: "We're young but I do think we'll be better. I can't say we've ever gone this long without a win, but we're itching for one."

Big game: Aug. 29 at Hephzibah. A win against the rival Rebels would do wonders for the confidence of a Butler team that hasn't won since Oct. 21, 2005.
