- Steve Wilson has joined SRP Federal Credit Union as vice president of branches eastern division. He was previously employed by First Resource Credit Union in St. Joseph, Mich., and has more than 30 years of industry experience. His responsibilities include oversight and guidance of the credit union's South Carolina branches.

- Don Williamson has joined SRP Federal Credit Union as manager of auditing. He was previously employed by Georgia Power Federal Credit Union in Atlanta.

- Josh Pniewski has joined Hitchcock Healthcare as a physical therapist. He was previously employed by John Stroger Hospital in Chicago. His responsibilities include assisting acute patients with physical therapy needs.

- Joe Norman has joined Cherry, Bekaert & Holland LLP as a senior accountant. The Augusta resident was previously employed by KPMG. The firm also announced the following promotions: Avery Ziegle, of Aiken, an employee since November 2001, to senior accountant; Juanita Woods, of Aiken, an employee since September 2002, to manager; Renee Douglas, of Thomson, an employee since January 2002, to manager.

- Cheryl Gullickson has joined Innovative Health Strategies as nutrition specialist consultant. Ray Parish has joined Innovative Health Strategies as systems engineer.

- Brad Bonner has joined Nicholas Dickinson & Associates Architects as an intern architect. His responsibilities include assisting in the design of new commercial projects. The Augusta resident is a recent graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design.

- Darren L. Massey has joined Edward Jones Investments as an Investment Representative. He was previously employed by Combined Insurance Co. His responsibilities include financial, retirement and education planning. The south Augusta resident has more than 20 years of sales and management experience.

- Richard Murphy has joined the Medical College of Georgia Legal Affairs Office as a senior legal adviser. He was previously employed by U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Atlanta District Office. His responsibilities include advising on topics such as contracts, inventions and risk management.

- Anthony Hightower has joined MCG's Legal Affairs Office as a senior legal adviser. He was previously employed by University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His responsibilities include advising on topics such as contracts, inventions and risk management.

- Petra Flynt has been promoted to relocation services coordinator at Meybohm Realtors. The Augusta resident was previously a customer service coordinator.

- Jane A. Sanders has joined American National Property and Casualty Company as a multiple line agent. The Augusta resident's responsibilities include selling property and casualty, life, health, commercial and farm-related risk insurance.

- John E. Steiner has joined The Human Capital Group Inc.'s new Augusta branch office as a senior consultant. The company is a Brentwood, Tenn.-based executive recruiting and human resources consulting firm. Mr. Steiner has more than 35 years of executive experience and was previously president of Kalco Lighting in Las Vegas.

- Dr. Adam E. Berman has joined MCG as the director of Cardiac Arrhythmia Ablation Services and assistant professor of medicine. He was previously in an advanced fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Duke University Medical Center. His clinical interests include catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias.

- Jonathan Dozier has been promoted to online director at The Augusta Chronicle. He was previously the online news and communities director. An employee since April 2004, Mr. Dozier has new responsibilities including Web site development, content management and audience growth for The Chronicle and several other Augusta-based publications of Morris Communications Co.

- Dr. W. Kent Guion has completed the inaugural Health Research and Education Trust Cultural Competence Leadership Fellowship program, a partnership among the Institute for Diversity in Health Management, the National Center for Healthcare Leadership and the American Hospital Association.

- Dale Villemain, senior account agent for Allstate Insurance Co., recently attended the 75th Anniversary National Conference in Chicago for outstanding sales and service.

- John C. David has been appointed to the national Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society's Enterprise Information Systems committee.

- Dianne Lariscy has joined American Red Cross of Augusta as health and safety services director. She was previously employed by the Augusta Recreation and Parks Department. The Augusta resident's responsibilities include coordinating and developing health and safety programs and training.

- Bowles Construction Inc. has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Disaster Restoration Companies by the 2005 CM/Cleanfax Magazine Disaster Restoration Industry Leaders Review.

l Bob Young, the regional director of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, has received the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation's inaugural Preserve America award for his work in helping create and implement the program.

- United Healthcare of Georgia has been awarded an accreditation status of Excellent for its combined HMO/POS product lines from the National Committee for Quality Assurance. The company serves 55,311 members in the Augusta area.

l John T. Chandler was the top producer of mortgage loans for Georgia Bank & Trust Mortgage in July.

- Delano Collins, of Elliott Davis Technology Solutions LLC, has completed the CompTIA Server Certification process, an international, vendor-neutral certification for individuals with 18-24 months of experience with Industry Standard Server Architecture technology.

- Elliott Davis Technology Solutions LLC announced it became a partner with Saflink to provide customers increased network security though its Identity Assurance Management product.

- Beasley Broadcast Group's radio station WGAC-AM received the Georgia Association of Broadcasters' Station of the Year award. The following WGAC employees received individual awards: Mary Liz Nolan, Best Newscast and Edward R. Murrow awards; Lee Miller, Best News Story; and Ashley Brown, Best Sports story. Also, Greg Patin received Associated Press awards for Best Use of Sound and Best Spot News story.
