Each day in August, TCM will devote the entire schedule to a star, starting today with John Wayne. The Summer Under the Stars series begins with the 1957 film The Wings of Eagles at 6 a.m., followed at 8 a.m. by 1973's Cahill, U.S. Marshal. On Tuesday: Barbara Stanwyck.

Mary Berendsen and Jonathan Latta will spend their honeymoon on the beaches of Jamaica, but the two owe their romance to the snow-covered slopes of West Virginia.
"I kind of new him in high school, but it wasn't until we went on a ski trip with a bunch of friends that we got together,' she said.
The trip lasted only about four days, but that was all it took for her to realize that she and Mr. Latta had something special.
"He's just a very nice and caring guy, and he's fun to be with,' she said.
The couple exchanged vows Saturday at Lakeside Baptist Church in Clearwater.
