LANGLEY, S.C.- Mrs. Beatrice F. Samuels of Jones Circle, Langley, loving wife of the late James Samuels, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 26, 2004, at the University Hospital, Augusta. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2004, at the Mt. Transfiguration Baptist Church, North Augusta, with the Rev. Gregory J. Gibson officiating. The burial will immediately follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens & Mausoleum, Langley. Mrs. Samuels was a life long resident of Langley and was a retired custodian for the Aiken County Public School system. She was a member of the Winning Edge Ministries, Beech Island. She will be greatly missed by her family and many loving and sorrowing friends. Those left to cherish her loving memories; one son, James E. (Mary) Samuels; six daughters, Dorothy Johnson, DeLois (Dwight) Henry, Mary (Larry) Jones, Reatha (Rev. Johnny) Bussey, Verian (Jake) Anderson and Barbara Hamilton, seve ral grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Alexander (Elizabeth) Anderson, one sister-in-law, Hattie Abney and a host of other relatives and grieving friends. The family will be receiving friends at the residence. The viewing will be held on (today) Thursday, July 29, from 3 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and Friday, July 30, from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
