AUGUSTA, Ga.-Mr. Wallace Dorn III, 66, beloved husband of Beverly Ringson Dorn, entered into rest on Saturday, July 24, 2004, at University Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Sunday evening, August 1, 2004 at Covenant Presbyterian Church at 4:30 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Watkins officiating. Mr. Dorn was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, where he was an Elder. He was also a Sunday school teacher, the Chairman of the Adult Education Council and a Covenant Presbyterian Middle School Youth Advisor. He was the Secretary and Treasurer of the National Hills Lions Club, a member of the Charter Life Underwriters Association, a Docent at the Augusta Museum of History and a member of both the Friends of the Augusta Symphony and the Augusta Genealogical Society. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Marlee Dorn of Atlanta and Jennifer Hills and her husband, Damien, of Bunbury, Western Australia and a sister, Audrey Dorn Haw n of Augusta. He is also survived by Mrs. Norma Ringston of Evans and his step-mother, Jeannette Dorn of Evans. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Dorn, Jr. and Juanita McDonald Dorn.
