HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. William "Ed" Brassell, 77, loving husband of Ann McKenzie Brassell, entered into rest on Monday, July 26, 2004 at the VA Medical Center. Others survivors include his daughter, Tonya Dickens of Hephzibah; brothers, Gene Brassell of Hephzibah, Lloyd Brassell of Gibson, Lee Brassell of Augusta and Jack Brassell of McDonough; sister, Mary Walden of Gibson; two grandsons, Joshua Dickens and Tyler Pruitt and several nephews, nieces and many special friends. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home today at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Bill Burch and Rod Blomfield officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be, Chris Brassell, Tim Carver, James Carver, Brady Brassell, Troy Kitchens and Marty Tant. Honorary pallbearers will be retiree's of Continental Can and Richard Marcano representing Hephzibah Fire Department and Rural Metro Ambulance. Hatcher Funeral Home, A ugusta, Ga.
