A RAVE TO ZETTA at Augusta Cares. In a world of run-around and "that is not my job," she really cares and helps. Wow, way to go, Zetta. We need more people like you.

I NEVER DREAMED that I would miss a comic strip as much as I do Cathy in the newspaper. Please, please put my favorite comic strip back.

A RAVE FOR the GreenJackets stadium personnel, concerned bystanders, and especially Yaranda and Pam, who assisted me when I fell at the food court.

TO THE PERSON in the Rants & Raves who asked about all the fuss over the University of Georgia mascot Uga. Well, it's called love, something you have probably never experienced. When an animal loves you unconditionally and is ready to give that love back to you with no question asked for a limited time for food and care, I figure that they deserve a place to rest for the love and devotion that they give you. After all, all it takes is a little love.

FORGET ABOUT THE downtown canal project and the baseball field and the trolley cars. What we need is a bicycle path since we can't afford to drive our cars down there anyway.

THEY'RE PUTTING THE new library building on hold for God knows how long because it wasn't historic enough. One block away they're tearing down one of the few historic buildings in the whole town, the Y.

NICE PICTURE OF the children on the jet ski that you published in the paper, but please tell them to wear life jackets. It's the law.

THIS IS A RANT for the Richmond County Board of Education concerning the CRCT test results. Mailing them out certified mail, which is very expensive. I don't see why they could not be mailed with regular mail instead. No wonder they have to continue increasing taxes. Makes you wonder where our money's going.

I JUST SAW ON CNN news where the Chinese people are going to take dog off of all the restaurant menus while the Olympics is taking place. I bet the dogs are real excited about that.
