Pay-per-view
If you're willing to shell out the bucks, pay-per-view will let you enjoy 60 hours of Woodstock '99 from the comfort of your own home.
The price for the pay-per-view event is $29.95 per day, or $59.95 for all three days, and is being offered by Knology (364-1000), Jones Intercable (733-7712) and Charter Communications (860-1580). Northland Cable (803 648-8361) will offer the event for $29.95 per day.
Free TV
If you don't feel like shelling out the pay-per-view fee, fret not. MTV will be providing a fairly constant supply of Woodstock and concert tidbits throughout next week.
Today through Friday, MTV will feature a series of specials looking at the concert tours of such recording artists as 'N Sync (today), Method Man (Wednesday), Whitney Houston (Thursday), the artists who performed at Atlanta's Rockfest, including Sugar Ray, Third Eye Blind, Collective Soul, Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Offspring (Thursday) and Limp Bizkit and Kid Rock (Friday).
Friday through Sunday, MTV will offer All Access Weekend: Woodstock '99, including videos by artists performing at the music festival and news reports from the concert site. Coverage winds up with a Sunday-night edition of MTV News.
On the Web
Starting at noon Friday and ending at 2 a.m. Monday, Woodstock.com will deliver 62 continuous hours of documentary programming, including performance highlights, backstage interviews with superstar artists, action shots from the extreme sports park and original comedy and lifestyle segments.
Audio channels will provide sounds ranging from artists' comments as they come offstage to the wild raves blasting through the wee hours of the morning.
