ALLENDALE, S.C. - Mr. Edward Garfield Hayward, 94, of Hay Street, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at Colleton Medical Center, Walterboro.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Virgin Mary Baptist Church with the Rev. Sullivan Bush officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Allendale County.

Mr. Hayward was a member of Virgin Mary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Jessie Eady, Pennsylvania, and William Floyd, New York; two daughters, Mary Jane Eady, Pennsylvania, and Louise Perry, Detroit; and several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
