The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Mount Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev. L. Everett Williams officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Jackson, a native of Columbia County, was a laborer and a member of First Mount Moriah Baptist Church.
Survivors include four brothers, James W. Jackson, Harlem, James Evans Jr. and Anthony J. Evans, both of Grovetown, and Rufus Evans, Warrenton; and five sisters, Rena Jones, Augusta, Eva Jean Rickerson, Appling, and Eloise E. Burns, Bernice McNair and Susie Evans, all of Grovetown.
The family will receive friends at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and also after the burial.
Friends may call at the residence of Eva Jean Rickerson, 5543 Tubman Road, or at Moore's Funeral Home, Harlem.
