WADLEY, Ga. - Mrs. Lula Mae Foley Tarver, 87, of Tarver Street, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at Glendale Nursing Home.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pineola Church of God with the Rev. Ronnie Harden officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Tarver, a native of Louisville, was a homemaker and was a member of Pineola Church of God, where she served as ``mother of the church.''

Survivors include four sons, Willie Lee Tarver Sr., Ben Tarver, Freddie Tarver and Curtis Tarver, all of Wadley; six daughters, Janette Tarver Williams, Jacksonville, Fla., Bessie Mae Tarver Thomas, Swainsboro, Katie Lee Tarver McGhee, New York, Betty Tarver Seabrooks, Connecticut, Elizabeth Tarver Heggs, Albany, N.Y., and Barbara Jean Tarver Bowers, Wadley; and 25 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the residence or at Hudson Mortuary.
