WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Julia Montgomery Hagood, of Eighth Street, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at University Hospital, Augusta.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Waynesboro First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Tom McCook and Jim Emery and Dr. David Carter officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. at Barnwell United Methodist Church, Barnwell.

Mrs. Hagood, a native of Kingstree, was a homemaker and a member of the Waynesboro Book Club, Daughters of the American Revolution and First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of McFerrin Bible Class and United Methodist Women.

Survivors include a daughter, Frances Hagood Weber, North Augusta; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hagood Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Brinson-Coleman Sunday School Class of First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 420, Waynesboro, GA 30830.

Friends may call at DeLoach Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the residence.
