Mr. Willie Gillom

WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. Willie Gillom, 88, of Warrenton Health and Rehab Center, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at McDuffie Regional Medical Center, Thomson.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Salem Baptist Church, Warrenton, with Rev. Robert Owens officiating. Burial will be in Union Star Society Cemetery, Warrenton.

Mr. Gillom, a native of Warren County, had retired as a janitor and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Willie Tom Gillom, Willie Edward Gillom and Willie Everett Darden, all of Warrenton; four daughters, Dorothy Johnson, Augusta, Evelyn Brinkley, Atlanta, and Minnie Mae Ruff and Mildred Hill, both of Warrenton; a brother, Richard Gillom, Philadelphia; 28 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great-grandsons

Friends may call at the residence of Mildred Hill, 867 Wilson Road, Warrenton, or at Dawson's Mortuary.

The family will receive friends in the Mount Moriah Baptist Church fellowship hall after the burial.
