TO THE PERSON WHO RANTED about Jefferson Davis: You are an illiterate idiot who knows nothing about Southern history. Keep on believing those lies you were told. We who know the truth will continue to fight and protect our Southern heritage.

THIS IS FOR THE person who wrote complaining of the evil people in church. Thank God they are there. That's what church is for. It's a hospital for sinners. But if you will come to church, you will find that there are indeed some good Christian people in church. The best people in the world can be found in church.

A RANT to Columbia County Water Police. Obviously, you are not policing all people and businesses in Columbia County. I have driven by the government complex and seen the sprinklers running during the hottest part of the day almost everyday. Also, they need to police the Columbia County sheriff's deputies because I have seen that many of them (at least six houses with police cars sitting out front) are watering during the hottest part of the day as well. If you are going to police the citizens of Columbia County, then it needs to be all citizens and the government complex!

A RANT for the person who stated that parents did not take active roles in their child's education and that's why their children failed the math CRCT. What do you know? Some of us work 40 hours a week, come home and help our children with their homework and are in PTA and do call their teachers to check on their progress. I know you are entitled to your opinion, and I know it is hard for you to believe this, but there are actually parents that take active roles in their children's lives.

THIS IS A RANT to the person who hit our dachshund. Her name was Molly, but you knew that because you ride by every day on South Hatcher Street and did not stop to tell us. The other neighbor was nice enough to stop and tell us who did it. So we will wait as you speed by every day for an apology.

TO THE COMMENT ABOUT evil church people: It is true that some church people (not necessarily Christians) are judgmental, but there are some Christians who care about people and want to help you find some love, joy and peace in your life. The fact is we're all broken without Jesus in our lives whether you attend church or not.
