Aiken County investigators arrested four people Wednesday and recovered several thousand dollars' worth of stolen lawn equipment, golf carts and all-terrain vehicles during a search of North Augusta and Clearwater.

Michelle D. Buff, 20, of Belvedere; Jesse L. Edminster, 24, of North Augusta; and Clayton M. Manor, 23, of North Augusta, are each charged with second-degree burglary and grand larceny. Randall G. Manor, 27, of North Augusta, is charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and three counts of grand larceny.

With aerial support provided by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, investigators recovered the stolen property hidden in wooded areas in the neighborhood where the items were taken, including four all-terrain vehicles and two golf carts, one of which was valued at about $9,000, said Lt. Michael Frank, a spokesman for the sheriff's office.

The property was returned to its owners, and the four people arrested were being held Thursday in the Aiken County Detention Center.
