WELL, YOU CAN'T AFFORD to take your family anywhere due to gas prices so you take your family to the lake for a camp-out only to find that the lake is so low that there is no beach for the little ones to play.

A RANT TO THE PERSON WHO thinks John McCain may break at any time because he is 72 years old. With a mind-set like that, Social Security, nursing homes and assisted living places wouldn't be needed because us old folks could break at any time.

IT IS VERY TRAGIC that Anthony Joe was a deprived child. But it is even more tragic that no one -- the law or any relatives -- stopped him from continuing his violent pattern.

THIS IS A RAVE FOR Dr. Bedden. I think he's doing a great job. But Dr. Bedden, I think you really need to look at the financial status of the Richmond County school system. Your former predecessor, Charles Larke, hired hundreds of people that we did not even need and we have got way too many chiefs and not enough Indians in our school systems.

I RECEIVED MY STIMULUS CHECK and I used it as a down payment to buy a 2008 Dodge quad Ram truck. Thank you very much, Mr. Bush. Thank you.

THIS RANT IS FOR THE PERSON who gets nauseous when she thinks of Marion Williams running for office. I see Mr. Williams every time I go to the flea market and other public functions at least once a month. He is the only commissioner I have seen out with the people of Richmond County.

THIS IS A BIG RAVE to the Richmond County Sheriff's Department. I think it was really good how they were stopping the speeders on the Bobby Jones Expressway, which is a speedway to a lot of drivers.
