AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest May 21, 2002, Mr. Eddie James Holmes, 59, of Highway 88, Hephzibah. Funeral services will be held today at Calvary Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Rev. George A. Holcombe, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Chuck Roberson, Craig Waits, Waynes Sparks, Billy Masters, Randall Holmes and Bobby Masters. Mr. Holmes is survived by his daughters, Lisa Bradley, Indianapolis, Ind., Hope Roberson and Amanda Waits both of Augusta; his brother, Richard Holmes, Jr.; sisters, Lucille Reeves and Virginia Tanner both of Augusta, and Ruby Sparks of Hephzibah. The family will receive friends today from noon until the hour of the service at Calvary Baptist Church. Hatcher Funeral Home, Augusta.
