CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT: AARP Foundation Senior Community Service Employment Program is taking application for certified nursing assistant course; eligibility limited to Georgia residents age 55 or older who meet federal low income guidelines and are able to pass a pre-entry screening. Senior Friends
Classes and activities are offered by Senior Friends of Columbia Augusta Medical Center. Activities include chair exercise, tai chi lessons, bridge, pinochle, canasta and health and educational programs. Most activities held at Augusta Professional Building, 3624 J. Dewey Gray Circle. Membership is open to anyone 50 or older for $15 a year. Reservations required; 651-6716.

Resource Center on Aging
The Resource Center on Aging is sponsored by University Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital. Most activities are held at Augusta Mall, University Hospital and the center office in Daniel Village on Wrightsboro Road. Activities include bridge, bingo, pinochle, crafts, health and informational seminars, movies, exercise classes and trips.
