COLUMBIA, S.C. - Phil Disher went 4-for-4 with two RBIs and a homer to lead South Carolina to a 9-6 win against Florida in Southeastern Conference action.

The Gamecocks (33-15, 13-11 SEC) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning of Saturday's game when Reese Havens scored on a throwing error and Disher hit a two-run homer.

The Gators (28-18, 13-11) tied things up in the fourth when Bryson Barber hit a two-run homer followed by a solo shot by Riley Cooper.

Florida scored two in the fifth to go up 5-3, but South Carolina answered in the bottom of the inning with four runs, including a two-run homer by Justin Smoak.

The Gamecocks held Florida to just one more run and James Darnell added a two-run homer in the sixth for South Carolina.
