SYLVANIA, Ga.-Mr. Robert "Buster" Nunnally, Sr., age 79, died Monday, May 3, 2004 at the Screven County Hospital. The Screven County native served in the Army during WWII, was a retired Sergeant with the City of Sylvania Police Department where he worked for 25 years, and was a member of the Georgia Peace Officers Association. Buster was also a member of the American Legion where he served for 57 years, and a member of the Sylvania Methodist Church. He most recently worked part-time as a Funeral Attendant at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home in Sylvania. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley F. Elliott Nunnally. Survivors include one daughter, Terri Marie Browning, Sylvania; two sons, Bobby Nunnally, Columbia, S.C. and William R. Nunnally, Monks Corner, S.C.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2004 from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be Wed nesday at 11 a.m. at the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Lonnie Norris and Reverend Dwight Bishop will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Donnie Glisson, Ned Davis, Bobby Odum, Lewis Oliver, Joe Nunnally, and Donald Conner. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Tretheway, James Snow, Charles Freeman, W.H. Black, Carlton Weaver, Margaret Evans, Hugh Hunter, Lynn Derriso, and Mike Kile. Burial will be in the Screven Memorial Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, C/O Teresa Harley, 210 Sylvan Circle, Sylvania, Ga. 30467.
