ATLANTA - An 8-year-old boy was killed Monday by his 5-year-old brother, who found a handgun at a southwest Atlanta home they were visiting with their mother.

He said the gun accidentally discharged, striking the 8-year-old in the chest.
The boy died at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Police have not released any names.
The owner of the loaded gun might face charges.
