For more than a decade, the Art Factory has provided art education to pupils in the Augusta area.
The Art Factory holds an annual fundraiser to make sure classes are available to children of poorer families in the area.
"This supports our tuition assistance and scholarship programs," said Cindy O'Brien, the Art Factory executive director.
Known as Celebrating the Garden for 10 years, last year the fundraiser was renamed Celebrating the Artist "in recognition of all the artists who have supported us," Ms. O'Brien said.
The fundraiser will feature a silent auction of original artwork by area artists as well as the Art All Year raffle. Tickets to the Augusta Symphony and Storyland Theatre and a Morris Museum of Art family membership are among the items in the raffle. Tickets are $10 each.
Ms. O'Brien said 150 to 200 people are expected to attend, and reservations are being taken.
"It's always a fun party, and we hope people will come," she said.
