WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Ben Paulson and Andy D'Alessio each went 3-for-4 to lift Clemson past Wake Forest 5-4 on Sunday.

D'Alessio had 3 RBIs for the Tigers (25-10, 10-5 Atlantic Coast Conference), who faced a ninth-inning Wake Forest rally before the game was called because of rain with one out and the tying run on second.

Ryan Hinson (3-1) allowed two earned runs on nine hits with eight strikeouts and no walks to get the win.

Andy Goff went 3-for-4, Austin Jones was 2-for-3, and Michael Murray drove in two runs while going 1-for-4 for the Demon Deacons (21-18, 8-10).

Charlie Mellies (1-1) gave up three earned runs and five hits with three strikeouts and a walk over three innings for the loss.
