PEOPLE IN MY subdivision need to stop letting their dogs go to the bathroom in other people's yards. There is a law that you are supposed to have them on a leash, but you still let them go in other people's yards.

THE CROWN JEWEL of Columbia County is suppose to be the educational system, but the solution to the pre-K problems is to quit? Is this the image that Columbia County wants to project? I guess when things get complicated, just drop out. This isn't a major corporation, it's a school system. If they can't handle kindergarten, I wonder how soon everyone will move back to Richmond County.

FOR THE PEOPLE, by the people, of the people. That's our constitutional right. This government right now that we're under is marked to go down in the history books as one of the worst governments of all time. I have never seen the United States of America in such a chaotic situation concerning our government. And I have never seen our rights being denied to every individual like they have been now by the people that we have elected to serve our office. They are supposed to stand for the right reason, for the people and by the people. God have mercy on this country, and God help those people in office. They need it.

A HUGE RAVE FOR the Augusta National. It was great to watch the Masters Tournament on TV with family members all ages and not have to hear about erectile dysfunction. It would be nice if the other golf tournaments had better sponsors.

WHETHER TO ALLOW the sale of alcohol on Sunday and is God pleased with us sipping things are two different issues. I don't want to judge the person who said that Jesus may have been drinking, but he blasphemed the only name that could keep him out of hell.

IT'S STRANGE IF ON the radio, the host has an opinion different from liberals, it's called hate radio. I guess it's so much for freedom of speech.

A CRIME IS A CRIME is a crime. The pre-K in Columbia County is a crime. It needs to be done over, and somebody needs to pay attention to this. This is purely unfair to the other kids that applied and didn't get in. They didn't have a chance. If you can't do the time, then don't do the crime.

USE THE REGENCY MALL area for the Medical College of Georgia. It's just sitting there. They can serve all of Georgia right here in Augusta. You can use that place for other clinics and living quarters.

REGARDING MICHAEL Savage, he has four degrees, he is a Ph.D. and he knows his history. For those of us that forget our history, it will be repeated. Imus should be forgiven, and that's all I have to say about that.

IT SEEMS THAT EVERYONE knew that the pre-K registration cards in Columbia County should not be folded, then why weren't any folded or tainted cards discarded and not counted?

DON IMUS WAS STUPID. But at least he was a man and he confronted those women about it. When will Al Sharpton confront those boys at Duke?

YOU LEAVE AL SHARPTON alone. He said that he is going to work to better the things that are going wrong in the black community. He can't fix everything. If you want to help, stop buying the records, and the TV stations can do better, too. Time to clean house all over! I'm proud of my black skin!

MY RANT IS FOR THE Department of Family and Children Services. I want to know why somebody who barely makes any money or elderly people who raise grandkids get the smallest amount of food stamps? But you have people who work and get paid $500-$600 every other week and they are getting more than the people that need it. Is it that I'm not filling out the application right or is it that I don't know the right people down there? I understand that everybody likes a hook up, but I thought there was a process.

HAS THE VON HIPPEL-LANDAU disease that makes the McCoys so aggressive penetrated drivers and abusers in the CSRA? Or are they just homegrown jerks? Driving while on a cell phone or applying makeup, drinking or smoking should be against the law.

TO RON CROSS: DO we really want to teach our children that killing animals to stuff them is acceptable behavior? If this is the best that Columbia County has to offer, I think I'll move back to Richmond County.

EVERYBODY IS complaining about how awful this country is now and how the rights of people and the principles that this country was founded on have been violated. And they're right. But you have to remember that you are the same ones that voted for the president, the officials and the representatives that we have. You should have learned from their mistakes the first term that they served.

IT'S A SHAME THAT the pre-K selection is corrupted. That's really teaching our children how to do things. It's sad.

IN VIRGINIA, WHEN PEOPLE are found guilty of bomb threats at school, they are put on probation and then they are forced to get a job to pay restitution. Maybe Morgan Road Middle should look into that.
