last week's What Is It? photo showed a portion of the 2008 Kia Spectra 5.
The first reader to identify the vehicle was T.J. Schumann, of Hephzibah, who wins a coffee mug from The Augusta Chronicle . Other readers correctly naming the car were Ken Ziegler, of Evans; LaKeisha Chishom, of Augusta; and Matt Lami, of Evans, who writes:
"I've had two Kias now over the past 14 years. I know a lot of people make fun of them, but they are very dependable cars. My first was a '94 Kia Sephia, which I bought with 21 miles on it. I didn't have any major problems with it until it was well over 100,000 miles. I'm currently driving an '05 Kia Rio, with a 5-speed manual transmission. You can't beat the gas mileage ... I regularly get about 35 miles to the gallon on the highway."
Now, look at our What Is It? photo for this week. If you know the make and model of this 2008 vehicle, write to glynn.moore@augustachronicle.com or call (706) 823-3419 and leave a message. Please include your city and phone number -- and how to spell your name.
The deadline is noon Wednesday. If you have any personal comments about the car, we will be glad to run as many as we can.
The names of correct guessers will be published Friday, and the first to identify What Is It? will get a little gift.
