OLDE TOWNE PRESERVATION ASSOCIATION
From Staff
Sunday, March 30, 2008

MEET: Members have four events a year, and the board meets the second Tuesday of each month. The main meetings are in July and December at the Living History Park, 299 W. Spring Grove Ave., North Augusta.

MEMBERSHIP: Open to public for $20 a year. The association gives 99.3 percent of the money it raises to the Living History Park.

MISSION: To educate the public on the historical significance of North Augusta. The association also seeks to preserve the unique character and quality of North Augusta and surrounding areas and to develop community spirit through common historical interest projects. "This park is 8 acres of land, and we want people to not only enjoy the park but realize they have a mini-Williamsburg and Central Park in North Augusta," said Olde Towne Preservation Association President Lynn Thompson.

INFORMATION: Visit www.colonialtimes.us.
