WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mr. Fletcher Watters, 84, entered into rest Friday, March 14, 2003 at Brentwood Terrace Health Center, in Waynesboro. Mr. Watters is a native of Burke County. He retired from the City Of Waynesboro where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He is preceded in death by his parents Mr. W. K. Watters and Mrs. Mary L. Watters. Survivors include his wife, Lottie Watters, Sardis; two grandchildren, Ernest Johnson Jr., Sardis, Kathy Watters, Twin City; seven greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews, Patricia Watters, Brenda Bradley, Wayne Watters, Lorrie Lanier and Peggy Collins.
